There is nothing quite like a nice refreshing mist when the heat is unbearable. You’re just standing around, suffering in the sun, when suddenly those gentle cooling drops come to rest on your face and scalp. It’s only temporary, but for a few seconds that spray was heavenly. You can now carry on your day a little more refreshed. With a water bottle that sprays mist, you can enjoy this simple pleasure just about whenever you want.
Below we’ll take a look at five water water bottles with misters. These are all straight-forward plastic water bottles equipped with a button you can press to fire off a refreshing blast of mist. While at first this might just seem like a silly gimmick, we’ve found some of these bottles to be up to par for everyday use.
Let’s take a look at the best water bottles that spray a calming mist.
Our Top Five Water Bottles with Mister – Staying Cool in the Spray
Water bottles with misters are pretty simple. All the water bottles that spray mist we’ve found are made from plastic. Most of them are sports bottles that can be squeezed to force water out. They have simple drinking spouts on top, located next to a button that sprays the mist from a separate nozzle.
Being able to hydrate and get a refreshing blast of mist from once device is pretty cool. Whether you’re hiking, cycling, or even at the gym, you can get a nice long drink of water and then a refreshing blast of mist. You’ll find that second wind coming on strong as you forge ahead hydrated and cooled.
When it comes to water bottles with misters or water bottles that spray water, none have taken it quite as far as the Lunatec Aquabot. The Aquatech has three different spraying options, including the ability to spray a concentrated jet of water up to 25 feet! The bottle can accomplish this with the help of a small pump which you use to pressurize the bottle.
You can adjust the nozzle to take the spray from a gentle mist up to a powerful jet and everything in between. For even finer control, the Aquabot is equipped with a pressure-sensitive trigger that varies the intensity of the bottle’s spray. You also get to decide how much force will be behind it based on how many times you pump it up.
The Aquabot includes a 32-ounce plastic water bottle, but the sprayer top actually fits on many wide-mouth plastic bottles, including Nalgene and CamelBak Chute, so you can make your favorite water bottle a spray bottle.
This is certainly the most versatile bottle that sprays water we’ve come across. The jet function is powerful enough to help you wash off yourself or objects. You can even use it to take a bit of a shower. At a campsite, this is a great stand-in for running water, helping you wash dishes, take a shower, and stay hydrated. Plus, it’s fun to shoot a jet of water in your mouth!

The O2 Cool Mist ‘N Sip is the first water bottle that sprays mist we came across. We’ve had once since 2016. While it hasn’t seen the most active use, it still works as well as the day we got it. It’s made from a lightweight and flexible BPA-free plastic. You can squeeze the bottle for one-handed operation to get a drink. You can get a nice spray of the mist by hitting the button on the top of the bottle.
This bottle probably has the best mister of any water bottle with misters that we’ve tested behind the Aquabot. The cloud of mist is large, refreshing, and the button is easy to press. At 20 ounces, it’s a little on the small side. Those who like to drink a lot of water may find themselves running out of mist. We’d also prefer if the bottle’s opening was a bit wider to make it easier to add ice cubes and clean the bottle.

This Qshare Misting Water Bottle does a great job spraying mist. The bottles are constructed from a flexible, squeezable, BPA-free plastic. It also has a few extra features up its sleeve. It’s made from a durable BPA-plastic and incorporates a double-wall design for insulation. This double-wall creates a small pocket of air in between the bottle’s double-walls, which minimizes heat transfer between the bottle’s contents and the atmosphere outside. As a result, your water stays colder longer.
Combined with the Qshare Misting Water Bottle’s wide-mouth opening, if you want a water bottle that sprays ice water, this is a great pick. The insulation will keep your water cold longer and the top-notch mister will hit you with a chilly, refreshing spray whenever you need it.
This ASD Spray Mister Water Bottle also incorporates double-wall insulation to keep the bottle’s contents cold. It’s well-suited to keeping you chilled with refreshing sprays of ice water. The bottle features a “Mist Lock” to improve leak-proofing and is available in a variety of different colors and designs. The designs are printed on a layer of reflective foil which sits between the bottle’s double-walled construction and acts to reflect heat and light.
These probably have the most fun designs of any misting water bottler we’ve looked at. They would be a great treat for a children’s sports team or outdoors group. Made from a durable and lightweight plastic, they can be squeezed with one hand to get a steady jet of water from the drinking spout.
They are a bit pricier than the O2 Cool bottles we ranked in at #1, but the ASD Spray Mister Bottle performs just about as well as the O2 Cool.
Unlike the other water bottles that spray mist we’ve looked at, this Teentumn Drinking and Spraying Water Bottle is made from a rigid plastic. That means you can’t squeeze water from it. It also gives the bottle a somewhat more sophisticated look than the sporty appearance of the other mister water bottles we’ve explored.
The Teentumn Drinking and Spraying Bottle can hold up to 20 ounces of water. The lid features the mist sprayer with trigger button, a flip-cap drinking spout, and a small carrying handle. We like how the mist trigger button is tucked underneath the handle. Just give the trigger a little squeeze and the bottle sprays out a nice, soothing cloud of misty water.
Technically, this O2Cool Misting Water Bottle with Fan isn’t really a water bottle. That is, it’s not designed for you to drink from. In a pinch you could unscrew the top and drink some water if you really wanted to, but that’s not exactly how it was designed.
Instead, this is designed purely with beating the heat in mind. It has a small fan which runs on 2 AA batteries. Press the trigger to get a spray of refreshing mist shot through the fan. As silly as having a water bottle with a fan and a mist sprayer on it might seem, it won’t seem silly at all when it’s the only thing giving you any relief on a hot day.
